‘Chiru’ audio 3rd time release

The sixth venture of successful director in Kannada cinema Mahesh Babu’s ‘Chiru’ starring very beautiful Krithi Karbanda and Chiranjeevi Sarja for Mars films has released the audio album for the third time in a week’s time.

Firstly it was in a live program with Udaya TV the audio was declared open to public and then with a special tie up with leading Kannada newspaper Udayavani the audio of ‘Chiru’ was given free with last Monday edition and now at The Bell Hotel on Wednesday evening director Mahesh Babu formally released the audio album.

“From the popular local daily Udayavani we have been able to reach 1.50 lakh people across the Karnataka state and that amounts to Rs.15 lakh expenditure to the company”, says Bharat Jain producer of Mars Films. “We have no other outlets for publicity of out film. The vinyl posters have become exorbitantly costly. The other publicity of putting up posters has been banned and it results in penal fee. So the best alternative thought was to reach through newspaper directly to the audience”, disclosed Bharath Jain younger brother of producer Suresh Jain.

The coupons inside the CD are sold at Rs.15 in the market in the MP3 format would come to Rs.10 lakhs expenditure for the producer says Bharath Jain. This is done via sponsor and downloads system he clarifies. A car, motorbike and gold coins are the bounty for lucky dip winners.

Director Mahesh Babu in his sixth film in Kannada has lauded the discipline, dedication, urge to learn in actress Krithi Karbanda. “The encouragement given to my Meravanige heroine Aindrita Ray, you give to Krithi”, said Mahesh Babu. “I am also extremely happy for having worked with Sundarnath Suvarana. I want to work with him more and more”, he pointed.

The five songs from different lyricists has received good response and expect good report after the film release said music director Giridhar who scored music for ‘Kalakaar’ and 48 audio basics.

Editor Sri in his second film for Mars Films with successful director is expecting a hit from ‘Chiru’. Ramnarayan and Ghouse Peer were also on the dais at the audio release.

Four songs of ‘Chiru’ were screened on this occasion.
